Appellate Practice

Dickinson Law recognizes that successful litigation requires attorneys to keep an eye toward appeal. Even the strongest case can be appealed, and the Firm litigates every case in a way to protect and preserve its client’s rights on appeal. Whether an appeal of a pretrial issue or following a final judgment, we know how to make persuasive and successful arguments before an appellate court, and we take great pride in the quality of both our written and oral advocacy.

Michelle Dickinson most recently obtained a reversal by the Maryland Court of Special Appeals in a reported opinion of a trial court’s erroneous decision excluding a damages expert and granting summary judgment in favor of the defendants in an accounting malpractice case. Parkway Neuroscience & Spine Inst., LLC v. Katz, Abosch, Windesheim, Gershman & Freedman, P.A., et al, 2022 WL 4588207 (Md. App. Sept. 30, 2022).

Michelle Dickinson is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fourth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits and the Courts of Appeals of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
